8 SPEAK UP for those who cannot speak for themselves,

    for the rights of all who are destitute.

9 Speak up and judge fairly;

    defend the rights of the poor and needy.

– PROVERBS 31 : 8 – 9
How can the world progress when human beings are not being human?

‘HUMAN RIGHTS DAY!’...Doesn’t it sound odd?..we need a DAY to rethink WHO WE ARE..Though everyday we need to remember our rights as a human being, this day specially focused on illuminating its importance in our present-day traumatic world. Take any newspaper or watch any news clipping…there are heaps of evidence as to how the basic rights of people are violated by those in power. And seldom do people come forward to stand up and speak for the rights of everyone to lead a better life..Are you one among them?..

‘Speaking up’ requires a clear conscience as to what is right and a firm will-power to stand up for it. And the best way to figure out the rights of man is to look at Maker’s words. God’s words not just gives you wisdom about what to speak but it increases your courage as to how to speak!..

“Every day, you have the power to choose a better tomorrow by opening your heart to the Creator’s voice and speaking up for what you know is right!”…

  1. SPEAK UP FOR THE SHY – There are many who feel insecure and afraid to talk to authorities or to even claim their individual rights to freedom. Our Creator wants us to speak boldly for the right cause of such people. Give your helping hand through your courageous words to uplift them.

2. SPEAK UP FOR THE DESTITUTE – During this pandemic, how have you helped the people lacking with the basic amenities?..You cannot talk about kindness by being rude to your maidservant!..So,before we speak up for their rights, we need to make sure our actions approve what we are standing up for.

3. SPEAK UP FOR THE POOR – People with insufficient resources to earn a livelihood need our support. More than the monetary help, what they need is ‘acceptance’ and ‘kind words’..Can you give them that today?

4. SPEAK UP FOR THE NEEDY – Every person is in need of something or the other. Yet, there are people suffering without a ray of hope to defend their cause. Let’s bring such people out of their darkness through the LIGHT OF CHRIST reflecting through our lives!
