Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”– 1 Corinthians 15 : 33
As you might be familiar, the word ‘CORRUPTION’ refers to ‘illegal, bad or dishonest behavior, especially by people in positions of power.’ It doesn’t necessarily point to the bureaucrats, officials or politicians but it includes anyone who violates the power in their hands to do injustice to others. Our Creator abhors corruption, which implies that HE definitely dislikes anyone involved in it in any way. But, do people realize?..”NO!”…The more we look around us today, the more we are convinced that almost all sections of our society suffer from the plague of corruption.
No person is born corrupt because we all have been fearfully and wonderfully created for HIS glory!..You might think how does one get corrupted then?..The answer to this has been given ages ago through the Holy Scripture that ‘when bad company overpowers your good character, there is 100% chance to get corrupted’. What about you?..What do you think is dominating you today?
DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT CORRUPTION?..

“BLESSED is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers“– Psalm 1 : 1
- WALK STRAIGHT
The first weapon to be taken is through your feet. Never walk in the path of the wicked, which means you aren’t supposed to follow the ways of the one who does deceitful things, whether it’s just a small cheating for a class test or planning a scam against a company. Don’t trust people, instead ask your Creator and follow your good instincts when it comes to choosing ways of life!
2. VIRTUOUS STAND
Taking a stand for the right cause at the right time is very important. If you see your rival in need of help but avoid it because of your wish to please your known ones, I don’t think it’s right according to our Ever-Loving GOD. Let it be any situation, always be prepared to stand strong to support the virtues by placing your faith completely on HIM who made you.
3. SIT UPRIGHT
Sometimes, we never realize how long we spend time talking, chatting or gossiping!..And often it ends up being a mockery session about someone’s weakness. As a warrior against corruption, you need to check and recheck as to how you use the time to spend in conversing with your classmates or colleagues. If the talk deviates from the truth, silently change your place of sitting..that’s the third secret weapon!
